Dear Magda, I enjoyed browsing through ur pictures and stories of Xinjiang as it brought me back to my own pilgrimage in Uygur territory 3 years ago. I spent 15 days there and made it back to Urumqui crossing the Taklimakan desert, (the contrast north - south of this desert is stunning), we tried to make it through the Niya Old City but we never got permission from chinese authority. The food was so scarce over there and not nutritious that by the time i got back to M'sia i had lost 4 kg ! Anyway, it was easily the discovery of my life harsh but worthwhile. Your pictures are wonderful :) Kiss
